"Plain, Simple, Good Food at Budget Prices"

This is a very plain country diner - No frills. Having said that, the food is great and the service friendly.

"Coffee and a Muffin"

Its my opinion that the muffins here are better then at 2 other popular places in the area.I don't think allowed to name them.

"Stopped for lunch/dinner on way to Digby"

Amazing! The staff are so friendly and accommodating, and the food is wholesome and excellent. The seafood chowder was one of the best I've had with loads of seafood. The club sandwich is loaded with real chicken, bacon and cheddar. The fish and chips were lightly battered, flakes, and crispy. Truly a fantastic place. Oh, and my main, salad with pan fried scallops. So yummy!!!! And generous portions!!!! Worth the stop!

My grandson played ball in the area today. Before our long trip home we stopped in for supper. I had the senior haddock & fries and my grandson had the smoked burger. It was the best fish that I have had for a very, very long time. Absolutely loved it. Highly recommend it. My grandson enjoyed his burger too.

"Fast, Friendly, Allergy sensitive"

My wife and I stopped in the old 'Weymouth Diner' which is now, Tanya's Place. The menu is almost the same as the old 'Weymouth Diner'. The food is fresh, the staff is friendly, and they are sensitive to allergies. The scallops that we ordered were cooked to perfection, my wife had steamed scallops, and I had mine pan-seared. The main course I ordered was a platter, with pan-seared scallops, Haddi-Bites (golden nuggets of fresh haddock), and fried clams. All in all the items were fresh and very good taste wise, and not too greasy. I would recommend this restaurant to all travellers on the Evangeline Trail, and all who visit Weymouth, Nova Scotia. The food is very good, fresh, and the staff are great!!!

"Nothing fancy but..."

Found this little gem of a diner while on vacation recently! It doesn't have fancy decor but it does have great food. We ate there 4 times during our Weymouth stay. Word of caution...order the small portion, as I cannot imagine a bigger plateful - especially true for the seafood platter, which was delicious.
